I wanted to let you know that I'll be giving a talk soon on The Fusion of African and Spanish Musical Traditions in Cuba During the 20th Century. This topic explores the dynamic musical styles and cultural influences that emerged from the blending of two distinct musical heritages, resulting in the creation of some of the most vibrant and influential genres in Cuban music. I think you'll find it fascinating and hope that you can join me.

This will be on Ricardo Regidor's Latin Music Talks channel and will take place Thursday May 12 at 9AM (MDT)/ 11AM (EDT)/5PM (CEST)
